A recent report published by Forinteck Canada's Eastern Forest Products Laboratory titled “Preservation of Wood Fence Posts” claims that an Eastern White Cedar post will out perform Western Red Cedar by 11 years. The excellent natural decay resistance and good dimensional stability of Eastern White Cedar will provide the durability and quality finish you require for long lasting decks and fences.
